We’re here to help children and their families living with chronic pain.
Chronic and complex pain conditions can be exhausting,
isolating and are often misunderstood, especially in children.
In 2010, five Moms met when their children were patients at a hospital’s pediatric pain program. Their kids were discharged with no support, and many were still in chronic pain. In 2011 these five Moms founded The Coalition Against Pediatric Pain, TCAPP, and officially became a 501©3 nonprofit organization. In the last 13 years TCAPP has served over 1000 children/families with our Pediatric Pain Camp, Send A Smile Programs, Helping Families in Crisis, and Advocating for Children. We are proud of our accomplishments and our pioneering support and love for these amazing children. Pediatric pain and chronic illness impact the entire family, creating unique challenges for parents who must navigate the system, school and “normal” family life. TCAPP supports children living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mitochondrial Disease, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, etc. We offer support, information and community to help children and families feel less alone.
